29/01/2003 (Agence Europe) - During its January plenary session, the European Economic and Social Committee (EESC) confirmed its commitment to combating all forms of discrimination against people suffering disabilities. On that occasion, the Vice-President of the European Disabled Forum (EDF) Bars Treffers launched an appeal for greater attention to be paid to these people when reviewing the European Employment Strategy.
