29/01/2003 (Agence Europe) - On 28 January in Brussels, the Pegasus Foundation, Chaired by former MEP Fernand Herman, held two video-conferences with young people from different schools in Europe and MEPs. The themes were as follows - Europe and the Environment, with MEPs Della Vedova, Ferri, Herman, Jackson, Nistico, Read, Sacconi and Wyn. The schools included IT IS Alessandrini in Abbiategrasso in Italy, the Liceo Scientifico Lussana from Lussana in Bergano, Italy and the Penrice Community College from St Austell, the United Kingdom; Europe, Violence and Discrimination with MEPs Boumediene-Thiery, Ferrer, Grosch, Herman, Gutierrez-Cortines, Sylla and Sauquillo Perez del Arco and the IFPME school from Charleroi Belgium and several academies from Madrid and the Lycée Jean Monnet and the Ecole Victor Martin in France (see EUROPE 25 January p 14 on the subject of the previous video-conference.
