Strasbourg, 20/12/2002 (Agence Europe) - By adopting a resolution on 19 December tabled by the EPP-ED, PES, Green/EFA, GUE/NGL groups and Liberals Graham Watson, Lousewies van des Laan and Baroness Nicholson of Winterbourne, and, while stressing that the Israeli Government has "the legitimate right to protect its citizens from terrorist attacks", the European Parliament stressed that the fight against terrorism does not justify the destruction of the Palestinian heritage by the Israeli army....
