Europol/United States agreement is signed - discussions on judicial cooperation and extradition agreement

Brussels, 20/12/2002 (Agence Europe) - Europol Director Jürgen Storbeck and Deputy Ambassador for the US, Sally M. Light, signed, on Friday in Copenhagen, the agreement allowing personal data to be exchanged between Europol and the United States. The agreement must take effect from Saturday, one US diplomat says.
