More people aware of enlargement in EU but worries about repercussions slightly increase

Brussels, 12/12/2002 (Agence Europe) - According to a recent Eurobarometer "flash" published on Wednesday, awareness about enlargement has been growing in all EU Member States since September. The survey was carried out among 15,000 people between 11-20 November and reveals that a very large majority of European citizens support the process and recognise the resulting benefits.

Awareness about enlargement in the EU has increased by 7 points and reached 82% (75% in September). The sharpest...
