12/12/2002 (Agence Europe) - Nine MEPs from the Socialist and United Left/Nordic Greens Left Groups and from the Lista Bonino have, in a letter to Javier Solana, called for an explanation on the assurance that Mr Solana apparently gave Iran that the EU would "look into Iran's demand seriously" to include the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI) on its terrorist list (see yesterday's EUROPE, p.13, on the subject of negotiations for an EU/Iran agreement).
