12/12/2002 (Agence Europe) - General Hilmi Akyn Zorlu, who commands the International Security Assistance Fore in Afghanistan (ISAF) said at meetings at NATO on Wednesday, that they could envisage the "institutionalisation" of the command, handing it to the Atlantic Alliance or the European Union, to avoid the "difficulties" of its half-yearly rotation. The Turkish General has led ISAF-2, whereas ISAF-3 will be commanded by the German-Dutch Corps from February 2003.
