03/12/2002 (Agence Europe) - With a ruling of the Upper Chamber last Thursday, the European Court of Human Rights decided to allocate EUR 12 million to the former King Constantine of Greece, EUR 900,000 to his sister, the Princess Irene, and 300,00 to his aunt, Princess Catherine. This final ruling thus compels the Greek State to compensate the three members of the former royal family, who currently live in the United Kingdom and Spain, at the Tatoi, Polydendri and Mon Repos estates.
