Brussels, 03/12/2002 (Agence Europe) - EU Social Affairs Minister meeting up on 3 December in Brussels under the presidency of Henriette Kjaer, have approved a general guideline on the simplification and modernisation of Regulation 1408/71 on the co-ordination of social security systems for those who move outside European borders, as aimed for by the Belgian Presidency exactly a year ago to the day.
