28/11/2002 (Agence Europe) - The first meeting of the advisory committee on industrial change (CCMI - Commission Consultative des Mutations Industrielles) was held on 28 November, under the chairmanship of Roger Briesch, President of the European Economic and Social Committee. The CCMI, responsible not only for the coal and steel sectors but also for industrial change aspects, was incorporated into the Committee after expiry of the ECSC in July this year.
