28/11/2002 (Agence Europe) - Hans-Gert Poettering, president of the EPP-ED Group in the European Parliament, took part with representative of the Brazilian Episcopate in a Mass on Tuesday with John-Paul II, in the latter's Chapel. On that occasion, the CDU member of the EP hoped that the Pope would accept Parliament's invitation to make an address at a plenary session in Strasbourg.
