Brussels, 25/11/2002 (Agence Europe) - The ad hoc meeting on terrorism that on 26 November was to have brought together experts from the 15 Member states, the European Commission, and the twelve partner countries of the Mediterranean, has been postponed to 13 December. The reasons are both the difficulty of agreeing on an agenda that could satisfy both sides (within the group of seven Arab Mediterranean countries some, like Syria, intend making a distinction between terrorism and the right to resistance against occupiers) and the "bad mood" expressed by certain delegations in this group for whom visas to Belgium are being delayed. It is to be the 3rd meeting of the group of experts.
