Strasbourg, 20/11/2002 (Agence Europe) - When voting on the report by Spanish Socialist Manuel Medina Ortega, the European Parliament finally decided to give priority to the protection of public health over the interests of the tobacco industry and sectors that benefit from advertising revenue and sponsoring activities linked to tobacco products.
