UNICE recommends pay restraint, tighter budgets and rapid implementation of Lisbon strategy to kickstart economy

Brussels, 23/10/2002 (Agence Europe) - In its Economic Outlook for October 2002, presented to the press on 22 October, the European employers' organisation UNICE is not expecting the European economy to pick up, forecasting growth of 0.9% in 2002 in the eurozone, rising to 2.1% in 2003.
