Voting on a resolution on Thursday - Simulation on 27 and 28 October of reaction to radiological and chemical attack

Strasbourg, 23/10/2002 (Agence Europe) - On Thursday, the European Parliament will adopt a resolution on assessing the EU strategy against terrorism since 11 September 2001. If the major outlines are more or less agreed upon, the EPP-ED Group has tabled amendments proposing eliminating the condemnation of preventive strikes as well as criticism of America unilateralism. This resolution follows the debate organised Wednesday afternoon in plenary on the EU's fight against terrorism.
