UPM-Kymmene is allowed to acquire Morgan Adhesives

Brussels, 21/10/2002 (Agence Europe) - The Commission has authorised the Finnish paper group, UPM-Kymmene, to acquire Morgan Adhesives Company, an American firm specialised in the production of adhesive labels for the manufacturing sector. The Commission noted that both parties are active in the adhesive label sector via their subsidiaries, Raflatac in Finland (UPM-Kymmene) and MACtac in Belgium (Morgan Adhesives).
