Luxembourg, 04/10/2002 (Agence Europe) - According to estimates published by Eurostat on 1 October the volume of retail trade increased by 1.4% in the euro-zone and by 2.3% in the EU15 in the period July 2001, to July 2002. In this same period retail trade of "food, drinks and tobacco" rose by 1.5% in the euro-zone and by 1.9% in the EU15.
