Commission clears CVC acquisition of Kwik-Fit

Brussels, 04/10/2002 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission has granted clearance to the proposed purchase of UK car repair chain Kwik-Fit (currently owned by Ford Motor Co) by the UK-based CVC Group. CVC owns the Dutton-Forshaw Group of dealerships (active in the maintenance of motor vehicles) and Halfords.
