Strengthened cooperation, convention against the trade in human beings

Brussels, 19/09/2002 (Agence Europe) - After their meeting held in Helsinki at the beginning of the week, attended for the first time by representatives of Morocco, Egypt, Tunisia and Algeria (see EUROPE of 11 September, p.17), the Ministers of the Council of Europe responsible for migration issues decided to strengthen cooperation in order to achieve controlled management of migratory flows.
