Loan to Croatia to improve air traffic safety

Luxembourg, 19/09/2002 (Agence Europe) - The European Investment Bank (EIB) will be awarding a loan of EUR 20 million to Croatia Control Ltd to improve the safety and capacity of air traffic services in Croatia. The investment comprises the equipment and a new building for modernising the air traffic control centre at Zagreb airport. The EIB decided to finance the project because of the advantages it will provide for the whole of the Southeast region.
