Commission clears takeover of Stinnes by Deutsche Bahn

Brussels, 18/09/2002 (Agence Europe) - On 17 September, the European Commission authorised the takeover of German logistics company Stinnes AG by German railway operator Deutsche Bahn AG. The Commission's market study showed that the two companies are leading players in their own markets, but that their activities present only small overlaps which do not give rise to any serious concerns.
