Brussels, 30/08/2002 (Agence Europe) - In the context of their cooperation agreement, the representative office for the region of Brussels-Capital, the representative office for business in Berlin and the Economic Development Agency of Vienna are organising, for 25 September at the House of Europe in Brussels, a one-day conference on: "Biotechnology and the regional dimension in Europe in the 6th Framework Programme for Research". The conference will be organised in the form of discussion groups between companies, SME and research institutes and universities, in the presence of experts from the European Commission, Commissioner Philippe Busquin, the Minister President of the region of Brussels-Capital, François-Xavier de Donnéa, Secretary of State for the Economy in Berlin Volkmar Strauch, and the Deputy Mayor of Vienna, Sepp Rieder.
