Ramon de Miguel explains agreement reached on the Island of Perijil to Council - Ana Palacio in Brussels Tuesday

Brussels, 22/07/2002 (Agence Europe) - On Monday the Spanish Secretary of State for European Affairs, Ramon de Miguel, informed the Council of the USA brokered agreement on Saturday between Morocco and Spain on the Island of Pirijil. The Council did not open the debates on this issue. According to press reports, Ana Palacio will be in Brussels on Tuesday to meet the President of the European Commission and the CFSP High Representative.
