EIB support for BBC audio-visual productions

Luxembourg, 17/07/2002 (Agence Europe) - The European Investment Bank (EIB) is going to provide BBC Worldwide a loan of EUR 40 million (£ 25,000,000). BBC Worldwide Ltd, the BBC's main commercial arm intend s to maximise the value of the BBC's programme and publishing assets for the benefit of the licence payer and re-invest in public service programming.
