Strasbourg, 02/07/2002 (Agence Europe) - The European Ombudsman called on the Council to reconsider its refusal to give access to a report on corporate taxation to a firm of consultants. Review should be based on the new regulations relating to access to documents, which took effect in December 2001. The Council is invited to respond by 31 October 2002.
