02/07/2002 (Agence Europe) - Interviewed by reporters about the report by Belgian Socialist Anne Van Lancker on health, sexual rights and reproduction (debated on Tuesday night), Hans-Gert Pöttering said that as far as the EPP-ED group (that he chairs) is concerned, such reports don't belong to the European Parliament for reasons of subsidiarity. The report calls for legal abortion and the morning after pill, and Pöttering said that some of his colleague were indignant about it, saying...
