Parliamentary Assembly hopes cooperation between European institutions will be strengthened

Strasbourg, 02/07/2002 (Agence Europe) - With the adoption last week in Strasbourg of the report by Dutch Christian Democrat René van der Linden, the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe urges for strengthened cooperation between the institutions of the different European organisations. It calls on the European Union to adhere to the European Convention for the Protection of Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms (ECHR), and invites the Convention to ensure that the EU's Charter...
