No change in production in construction industry

Luxembourg, 28/06/2002 (Agence Europe) - According to figures released by Eurostat on 27 June, production in the construction industry remained unchanged in the Eurozone (0.0%), but grew by 0.1% in the European Union as a whole (EU15) in the first quarter of 2002 compared with the last quarter of 2001. This trend follows growth of 0.5% in the eurozone and 0.5% in EU15 in the last quarter of 2001. Production rose the most sharply in the construction industry in Finland (5.0%) and the UK...
