Brussels, 28/06/2002 (Agence Europe) - MEP Joachim Wuermeling specifies that a paper on EU competences, that he planned to present to the Convention with other Members, is only at the "proposal" stage (see EUROPE of 27 June, p.4, and 28 June, p.6). The CSU member has sent another contribution to the Convention confirming that he plans to focus on the matter of competences and that he will draw the attention of his colleagues "from time to time" on some observations and ideas in this field....
