Luxembourg, 28/06/2002 (Agence Europe) - According to a flash estimate published by Eurostat on Friday, annual inflation in the eurozone was expected to be 1.7% in June 2002, down from 2.0% in May 2002. The Statistical Office of the European Communities says that this is the lowest rate since December 1999 when eurozone annual inflation was also 1.7%.
