Loans in favour of urban renovation and social housing in Poland

Luxembourg, 25/06/2002 (Agence Europe) - The European Investment Bank (EIB) is to grant a loan of EUR 200 million in favour of urban renovation and energy-efficient social housing throughout the territory of Poland. This 25-year loan, granted to the State Bank BDG, will help towards renovating housing stock showing evidence of severe deferred maintenance and towards constructing new energy efficient rental housing in brown-field locations included in urban renewal areas.
