Brussels, 05/06/2002 (Agence Europe) - On Wednesday, the European Commission presented a draft directive aimed at facilitating the re-use of data gathered by public authorities throughout Europe. The aim is to abolish obstacles - due to the differences in national legislation - that European content companies face in their efforts to develop a new generation of products and services based on public sector data.
