05/06/2002 (Agence Europe) - In a report on economic forecasts, published on Wednesday, the European Banking Federation (EBF) notes that the evolution in prices during the year has been disappointing. It considers inflation will not fall below the 2% ceiling until 2003. Furthermore, the EBF welcomes the recent appreciation in the euro.
