Council adopts resolution on future of tourism

Brussels, 22/05/2002 (Agence Europe) - The Internal Market/Consumers/Tourism Council unanimously adopted, on 21 May, a resolution that sets out the actions to be implemented to not only develop tourism in the European Union but also allow it to face up to ever fiercer competition from other destinations (see also EUROPE of 18 May, p.11).
