Parliament in favour of simplification of rules for marketing products of animal origin

Strasbourg, 16/05/2002 (Agence Europe) - In Strasbourg on Wednesday, the EP adopted (466 in favour, 1 against and 5 abstentions) the report by Heinz Hindermann (German, PES) approving a proposal of July 2000 aimed at tightening and simplifying the provisions governing the placing on the market of products of animal origin intended for human consumption.
