Brussels, 16/05/2002 (Agence Europe) - European Commission spokesman, Jonathan Faulls, said on Wednesday that the College would be holding a seminar on industrial policy on 10 July. Mr. Faull refused to establish a link between this seminar and Chancellor Schroeder's visit who came to Brussels to plead with Romano Prodi in favour of the "traditional" economy, as opposed to the "new economy" (see EUROPE of 1 May, p.9).
