Council expected to confirm Friday whether extension to aid for lorry drivers in France, Italy and Netherlands will continue

Brussels, 30/04/2002 (Agence Europe) - The Council is expected to confirm on Friday by written procedure whether the three decisions on aid given to France, Italy and the Netherlands to their lorry drivers at the end of 2000, by way of tax reductions on gasoil, are compatible with the rules of the internal market.
