18/04/2002 (Agence Europe) - The Academic Network of Legal Studies on Immigration and Asylum in Europe, funded by the European Commission' Odysseus Programme and co-ordinated by the Free University of Brussels (ULB) will be organising courses on the following theme "European Union Law and Policy on Immigration and Asylum" from 1-2 July at the ULB. The most recent preparatory work carried out by the Commission and the legislative projects from the Council of Ministers and the European Parliament in the field are integrated into this teaching thanks to the participation of high-ranking officials from the EU as lecturers.
