Commission launches and pursues infringement proceedings

Brussels, 11/04/2002 (Agence Europe) - On Thursday the European Commission decided to launch and pursue various infringement proceedings for failure to apply Community law in several areas, sending for example:

  • Italy a Reasoned Opinion calling on it to change its legislation on work on aircraft to meet Community freedom to supply services in the internal market measures;

  • Taking Greece to the Court of Justice for failure to authorise architects qualifying in other Member States to work...
