11/04/2002 (Agence Europe) - The EuroMed conference of industry ministers that ended in Malaga on Wednesday was attended by an Israeli representative, but not by any Palestinian representatives (see EUROPE of 6 April, p.12). EUROPE will return to the conference, that called for a strengthening of industrial co-operation, improved investment conditions in the region, greater private sector input and the creation of an environment to encourage small and medium-sized enterprises.
