02/04/2002 (Agence Europe) - The oil producing countries will maintain their commitments, despite the Middle East crisis, said European Energy Commissioner Loyola de Palacio on Tuesday. In a press release she said that she had no doubt that oil producing countries would maintain their pledges and take all necessary measures to keep oil prices a reasonable level and avoid unnecessary volatility.
