11/03/2002 (Agence Europe) - According to the Turkish press agency Info-Turk on 7 March, General Tuncer Kilinc, Secretary General of Turkey's National Security Council, said that the EU has adopted an "absolutely negative approach" to Turkey and that Ankara, without ignoring its US ally, should also turn towards other countries "particularly Russia and if possible Iran" to ensure the region's security.
