Commission allows three operations

Brussels, 26/02/2002 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission has authorised the following three operation (to which EUROPE will return):

- takeover of Scholler (Germany) by Nestle (Switzerland), in the ice-cream sector;

- the creation of a joint-venture in the river transport sector of mineral oils by tankers;

- acquisition of EP Europost by Hermes Versand, in the mail distribution sector.
