European Movement urges for ratification of Nice Treaty

Dublin, 26/02/2002 (Agence Europe) - The European Movement Ireland has reacted to the interim report of the "National Forum on Europe" set in place in Ireland after the "no" at the referendum on the Treaty of Nice. It mainly notes that discussions within the Forum have confirmed "overwhelming support for EU enlargement". "In our view, ratification of the Nice Treaty is an inevitable condition for making enlargement possible", stresses the European Movement, which also considers that the work...
