Brussels, 15/02/2002 (Agence Europe) - On Thursday, the Commission approved a new series of cross-border co-operation programmes under the Interreg III initiative. These programmes, which will be implemented over the period 2000-2006, aim to foster socio-economic development of border regions by developing them economically, space planning and the environment.
