11/02/2002 (Agence Europe) - Anna Diamantopoulou and Lithuanian Minister of Social security, Vilija Blinkeveciute will sign a joint document in Brussels on 12 February on progress made by Lithuania in matters of employment in view of is accession to the EU labour market. It's the eighth document signed to date with candidate countries. This document refers to a level of unemployment of 16% and a level of employment in constant decrease, at some 3% below the EU's level of 63%.
