11/02/2002 (Agence Europe) - Adopting the report by Maria Martens (EPP-ED, the Netherlands) on the follow-up to the report on the tangible objectives of education and training systems, the European Parliament calls on the Commission to establish indicators for educational objectives such as raising awareness of the idea of citizenship, social skills and mutual understanding between different cultures.
