11/02/2002 (Agence Europe) - France, Spain, Portugal, Italy and Gibraltar will benefit from 194.3 million euro by 2006 for co-operation projects in their border regions under the Interreg programme. The programme concerns: in Spain, Andalusia, Aragon, the Balearic Islands, Calatonia, Valencia, Murcia, Ceuta and Melilla; in France, Corsica, Languedoc-Roussillon, Provence-Alpes-Cotes d'Azur and Rhone-Alpes; in Portugal, Algarve and Alentejo; in Italy, Basilicata, Calabria, Campania, Emilia-Romagna, Lazio, Liguria, Lombardy, Piedmont, Sardinia, sicily, Tuscany, Umbria and the Valle d'Aosta. With a contribution of 103.8 million euro, the EU funds a large part of the programme.
