Parliament wants EU to intervene to "facilitate" dialogue between India and Pakistan

Strasbourg, 08/02/2002 (Agence Europe) - In a resolution by the EPP-ED, PES, ELDR, Greens/EFA and UEN groups adopted during the emergency debates on Thursday, the EP strongly condemned the activity by the assassins who attacked the Indian Parliament on 13 December 2001 as an act of terrorism and called on India and Pakistan to resume dialogue together.
