- Greece: in the framework of its governmental privatisation programme, the Greek Government has announced its intention of selling part of its shares in the company HELPE - HELLENIC PETROLEUM in which it currently has a 61.9% stake. It will thus designate in April the group that it has selected to sell it 23% of the shares and bids must be made by 8 March. The Austrian oil group OMV, Russian IOUKOS and a consortium made up of the Greek LATSIS and Russian LUKOIL have expressed an interest.
